Previously, Mr. Shiau worked at Emerald International, a venture capital and private equity company, and at Susquehanna International Group, a proprietary trading firm. He founded SimExchange.com, a virtual stock market for predicting video game product sales.

Mr. Shiau studied economics and finance at Princeton University. He has over 10 years of trading experience and currently holds Series 3 and 65 licenses.
